Kevin Barbot, his wife, and three beautiful children have been residents of Southwest Florida since 1994. Deputy Chief Barbot started his career as a firefighter with Punta Gorda Fire Department, Lehigh Acres Fire Control and Rescue District, and has been with Sanibel Fire and Rescue District for 12 years.
Fire Chief Barbot has completed a bachelor's degree at Utah Valley University in Emergency Services Administration and currently holds state certifications in - Fire Officer, Fire Inspector, Fire Instructor, Health/ Safety Officer, Paramedic. He has worked through the ranks as Lieutenant, Captain, Deputy Fire Chief, and most recently Fire Chief. Kevin's drive to succeed will lend well to his future at Sanibel Fire while helping provide the community with excellent public safety services.
